Meet Adriana
BSW | MSW | RSW
Hi, I’m Adriana, a Registered Social Worker providing therapy for children, teens, adults, and seniors navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, trauma, life transitions, and the many challenges that come with being human.
My Background
I completed my Master of Social Work with a Clinical Concentration at The Ohio State University and am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Practitioner. Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals across a variety of settings, including crisis and community-based work, which has deepened my understanding of how trauma, stress, relationships, and life experiences shape emotional wellbeing.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely comfortable showing up as yourself. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in creating a space where you can feel heard, supported, and understood without judgment. Together, we’ll explore the experiences, emotions, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck while working toward meaningful and realistic change.
Working With Diverse Experiences
I have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, emotional dysregulation, severe and persistent mental health concerns, and experiences of abuse. My work alongside individuals impacted by marginalization and systemic barriers has also shaped my commitment to providing inclusive, culturally sensitive care where clients feel respected and safe in their identities and experiences.
My Therapeutic Style
In therapy, I focus on helping clients better understand themselves while building practical tools to navigate difficult emotions, relationships, and everyday challenges. I recognize that no two people experience life the same way, which is why I tailor therapy to your individual needs, goals, and pace.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed practices.
Outside the Therapy Room
Outside of work, I value slowing down, staying connected with loved ones, and finding balance in the small moments of everyday life. I believe healing often begins in spaces where people feel accepted, supported, and able to show up authentically.
