Individual Therapy
Sometimes things build up quietly — stress, expectations, difficult experiences, or thoughts that seem to loop endlessly in your mind. Individual therapy offers a space to pause, talk openly about what’s been weighing on you, and begin making sense of it.
At Ari Therapy, our work together focuses on helping you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns while developing practical tools that help you navigate life with greater clarity and confidence.
Individual Therapy May Be Helpful If You:
• Feel constantly overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or racing thoughts
• Find it difficult to manage intense emotions or periods of low mood
• Are going through a major change in life and feel unsure how to move forward
• Notice yourself falling into the same patterns but aren’t sure how to break them
• Want to better understand yourself and your relationships
• Simply want a space where you can talk openly and feel supported
Our Approach to Individual Therapy
Our approach to therapy is collaborative and tailored to your needs. Together, we work to better understand what you're experiencing while developing strategies that feel practical and relevant to your life.
Depending on your goals, therapy may integrate evidence-based approaches such as:
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
• Narrative Therapy
• culturally responsive and trauma-informed approaches
The goal is not to fit you into a specific model, but to find what works best for you.
Session Format
Individual therapy sessions are offered virtually across Ontario through secure video or phone sessions, allowing you to access support from the comfort of your own home.
Sessions typically last 25-50 minutes and are tailored to your needs and goals.
Therapy so good, you’ll forget you were nervous to start
Therapy is a place where you can talk openly without judgment. Many clients find that having a consistent space to reflect, process emotions, and explore new perspectives can bring a sense of relief and clarity.
Whether you're working through a specific challenge or simply trying to better understand yourself, therapy can help you move forward with greater confidence and support.
